My daughter graduates from high school this year, and I refuse to celebrate (she wants a big party)
To me a high school graduation isn’t a BIG deal because it’s mandatory. Every child should finish high school.
It’s the only thing I expected from her, she hasn’t had to work, I’ve paid for her vehicle and insurance, I pay her cellphone bill and all I asked in return was for her to get good grades and graduate.
I tell her if or when she graduates from College or University, I would be more than happy to throw her a big party to celebrate.
Am I being unreasonable by not throwing a party for my daughter?
